Dead birds can’t fly. We have seen incidents of dead birds in Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Kentucky, Sweden and now 8,000 dead turtle doves in Italy. While some scientists initially thought New Year celebration fireworks were to blame for the initial mass deaths, we suspect people stopped shooting fireworks by January 7th! Italian investigators actually believe the turtle doves dies from poisoning or lack of oxygen because of a blue stain on their beaks. In the last week, almost a dozen incidents of mass deaths of birds and/or fish have been reported. Something isn’t right. Isn’t this fishy?

Shark and Vulture Warfare
Last month, officials in Egypt accused the Israeli military for sending a shark (yes, the one that swims) near their beaches in the Red Sea to cause havoc, scare people and bite off their limbs. Today, the Saudis announced the arrest of a vulture (yes, the one that fly’s) for being an Israeli spy. Evidently, the vulture was part of a research program run by the Tel Aviv University to study migration patterns of vultures; so naturally, that is military speak for ‘secret agent.’ The Saudis are certain the vulture is a spy because it has bad breath. Seriously. Now, we challenge you to eat massive amounts of rotting carcasses and have mint fresh breath!
Hundreds of dead snapper fish in New Zealand
Hundreds of dead snapper have washed up on Coromandel Peninsula beaches. Many with their eyes missing. Eyewitnesses stated there were a carpet of dead fish floating in the water. Officials in New Zealand were reportedly saying the fish were starving because of weather conditions. However, a formal investigation has been started. Could this too be related to the dead fish in Brazil and Arkansas and dead fish in Louisiana and Arkansas? Why are all these fish and birds dying mysteriously?
