The Israelis have it right! When people want to board an airplane they simply ask “Are you a terrorist?” Laugh! However, it makes a lot of sense. It might be really hard to find an explosive device or weapon given all the technology that goes into making them difficult to find. However, people have a more difficult time hiding what they are thinking, feeling and doing. Are you cheating on your significant other? Better hope we don’t ask when he/she is standing right in front of you. If you are hiding something important, no matter how hard you try; our body gives off signs. It might be the twitch of an eye, a jerk of your arm, a shift in weight or an outright confession. Seems silly to have people molested at airports when less than 5% of cargo under passenger planes are thoroughly checked, so might as well go back to basics. So, are you a terrorist?
