Santa Claus and Social Security

Santa Claus and Social Security are two concepts based on great ideas and the similarities do not end there. Both are a figment of our imagination and require an authority figure to help deliver. While Santa Claus may be coming to visit children this holiday season, there’s no real hope for Social Security coming to those same children. At least most Americans know that Santa Claus isn’t real. When will people realize that Social Security is just a government mandated ponzi scheme that is bound to result in failure or diluted benefits for all.

Radioactive Water. Yummy!

The City of Houston has decided to close a water well which contains alpha radiation. How are the residents of Jersey Village going to make Jello now? What’s amazing about this breaking news is that the Federal government found high levels of radioactive materials in many drinking supplies throughout Houston and in other parts of the country. We wonder how long it took for the test to be conducted, results to be evaluated and then communicated to the City of Houston (who should have already known?). We’d be very concerned if states, cities and local governments rely on Federal agencies to let them know when there is a problem of this magnitude.

Execute prisoners like animals!

The State of Oklahoma has just executed a prisoner using a mixture of drugs which are frequently used to euthanize animals. People are now upset that a man who killed another person is being terminated the same way an animal is. We say, congratulations to the State of Oklahoma! Maybe would be murders will think twice.
